Today our devotional was about how we can send our love to God in heaven above....it was a perfect devotional for the boys since we talk about Avery constantly and how she is in heaven and that we can't wait to be with her....
So, after we were done with our devotional we went and got some balloons and wrote messages on the balloons to Jesus and Avery and then let them go...
Since we released balloons the day of her funeral/picnic and also on her birthday, it is starting to become a tradition to send balloons. It is a reminder to us all that she is in a better place!!

Oh, I love the release of the balloons!!! It is another awesome way for the boys to think of Avery. I will never forget the balloons that were released on Avery's birthday and the heart shape they formed in the sky!!!!

Alayna has lost 2 balloons since we have moved and she always talks about Baby Avery getting them and has yet to get upset about her own loss. This typically leads to a slew of questions/conversations about Heaven. Its incredible how much of it she grasps...Avery's memory is alive and well!
